After feeling really loussy yesterday - almost sick'ish, it was nice to get the exam over-with. But whether i'll pass the course is a completely different subject. I think it went fairly well - with a bit of love from Olav and Claus i should be able to abide - all i ask a freakin' 6!!!
Well enough about exam, now it's finally vacation time - time to drink beer and get hammered. In this spirit i went with some other friends to see the new Blade flick called "Blade: Trinity" - and man! What a load of crap (http://halfdans.net/movie.py) - but we stopped by the Irish House for a "pint'o'guiness" so it worked out ok.
Another subject just popped into my head - me and a friend found a really good deal on a couple of Palm Zires (classic, m150, or whatever they're called) - so we went ahead and bought them. He's Zire is working great - however mine had a digitizer problem (it appears that i'm not the only one) - frustating as my old Palm IIIx also had a digitizer defect, albeit only after ~4 years of use. So it's back to the supplier with the defect unit - and i'm now Palm-less (and therefore memory-less) for "unknown amount of time".
A side note to this is that i've begun coding a web page that is supposed to make it easier to get documents from the web and onto your palm for reading in bed, on the plane, on the can, in the car - oh wait, only if you're not driving. It utilizes plucker (http://plucker.sf.net) for parsing the HTML pages to the Plucker format. A preliminary version is up on: http://jake.infonet.dk/cgiwrap/rto/index.py I'm still working on a fancy name for the thing - prefarably one with an available .org address.
